What a week!

This week has been my biggest weekly weight loss ever - the only problem is, I’m not sure what I did to achieve it!

I ran, I watched what I ate, I drank heaps of water, etc. All the usual stuff that I normally do. One possible difference is that there were no ‘days off-diet’ this week. Normally I have a meal or two each week that’s a bit of a blow-out, such as a roast dinner at the in-laws or a lunch with workmates. I don’t go overboard, but they’re not exactly calorie-restricted meals, either. This week I had none of those.

Maybe I need to try doing that more often :-).

Hey congratulations on your weight loss!! I gave birth to a baby girl last October and during my pregnancy i’ve gained a massive 26 kg!!
Not only i don’t like the way i look but i also feel very unfit and unhealthy. I used to run and exercise regularly, then i just let myself go ..
But this morning i put baby Isa in her pram and we went for a long fast walk and..i already feel better.
I came across your blog by chance and i just want to tell you that people like you are a real inspiration for people like me that are starting to change their life and trying to get fit.
I’ll come back to read you progress and to get some motivation when i don’t feel like going out and exercise.
Cheers

Hi Federica, glad you found something useful here.

Believe it or not, I’m not far from you - Kiama, on the coast near Wollongong.

My wife and I both gained a fair bit of weight after our first child was born, and continued to gain with each subsequent child :-). I can totally relate.

It sounds like you’re getting things back in order, which is great. Hope to hear some progress reports from you sometime!
