&lt;p&gt;I use the averages from PhysicsDiet.com for the values I post. Using actual daily measurements has too much variability, and the week-to-week swings end up being too discouraging. The averages are more &#039;real&#039;, and it&#039;s the long-term trend you want to be maintaining.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I ask because my average weight is always about 1KG more on PD than my current weight, and if I subtract my weight this week from my weight last week then I&#039;ve lost more than the amount PD states.&lt;/p&gt;
