I think you guys are right. I'm feeling pretty blah in these baggy clothes. My belt pulls my pants right in at the waist, so I have a huge overhanging gather around the top!

We have a Rivers clothing store near us - they're cheap and not too bad quality - so I'll probably go in tomorrow and see what I can find. I probably just need one or two pairs of pants and a shirt or two.

It's ironic, about three months before starting to lose weight I donated all my old clothes to charity! I'd held onto them for 7+ years and was getting sick of the space they took up in my cupboards. I figured it was unlikely I'd fit back into them anytime soon, since I wouldn't have the time to diet and exercise until my three young children were a lot older. Oh well :-).

Holly is right. You can't imagine how nice it is to wear clothes that fit correctly. It is hugely motivating.

Just don't buy a lot. And if you can find some nice second-hand stuff then that is great too.

Consider the new clothes an investment in health ;-) It is much easier to justify that way.

I'm still not running yet. But I did walk around an amusement park for about 6 hours yesterday without much pain in my feet or legs. My hips ached a little yesterday towards the end of the day, but they feel great this morning. So maybe it is time to try again. Anyway, your training helps me stay motivated to try again.

Congrats and keep up the good work!

What a mixed blessing baggy clothes are, eh! Congratulations on your continued amazing progress.

If none of your clothes fit, I definitely recommend picking up at least a few pairs of pants and shirts that you are comfortable in now. Buying them used is a good idea. Speaking from my own experience, wearing clothes that fit you properly at your new (however temporary) lower weight is an incredible feeling. It's like a continuous reminder of the progress you've made.

Just go into a store and try on a pair of pants, at least. You'll see what I mean. :D
